Friends of the Museum

The association Friends of the Bernisches Historisches Museum was founded in 1901. Its purpose is to support the Museum in performing its duties and to promote relations between the Museum and the public. Most importantly, members can also donate objects to the Museum. The association can also make contributions towards scientific research, publications and conservation work.
